  • Understand the basic vocabulary of solid, liquid, and gas.
  • Describe the characteristics of each state.
  • Understand that solids and liquids occupy much less space than gases.

Assignment:  Solid, Liquid, Gases Venn Diagram.  Read pgs. E20-E24.  12 Detail Stickies.
